AACTA INTERNATIONAL AWARDS 2013 - NOMINEES AND WINNERS

The panel of (unnamed) judges who voted for the AACTA International Awards has strongly favoured Silver Linings Playbook, awarding it Best Foreign Film, Best Director, Best Actress; the film also won the Discretionary Awards for Best Supporting Actress & Actor.

The Discretionary Awards are determined by the Australian Film Institute (AFI) | AACTA Board of Governors.

Quentin Tarantino was awarded Best Screenplay for Django Unchained and Daniel Day-Lewis won the Best Actor award for his sustained brilliance in Lincoln.

Winners were announced at the 2nd AACTA International Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles, with Russell Crowe leading fellow Australians presenting at the Ceremony, Jacki Weaver and Scott Hicks.
